In November, Silvertip Software announced the re-launch of RoomTime, a room and resources-scheduling web app. The company invited institutions to participate in its Early Adopter Program to test-drive the new cloud-based version of RoomTime.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Vancouver, BC, Canada, January 14, 2014 — Facilities and facility managers have until the end of the month to try RoomTime — its cloud-based room- and venue-scheduling application — free of charge, according to Silvertip Software (http://www.silvertipsoftware.com), which announced today that registration for its RoomTime Early Adopter Program and Four Month Free Trial will close on Jan. 31, 2014.
Using RoomTime’s web-based software, businesses and facilities can easily manage schedules and resources for rooms and venues, including meeting rooms, conference rooms, classrooms, event spaces and more. The affordable, easy-to-use app is currently employed by institutions throughout Canada, the United States, Mexico, Australia and the United Kingdom, including educational and community-based facilities such as hospitals, community centers, churches, theatres and auditoriums.
For a limited time, institutions and organizations that want to try RoomTime may join the RoomTime Early Adopter Program to test-drive the newest version of the software. Participants in the program may use the software free of charge for a period of four months. In exchange, they agree to provide Silvertip Software an assessment of the product's features and share how they have benefited from them.
Since the Early Adopter Program was announced in November 2013, many companies have signed up to test the software. Feedback to date has been very positive, and Silvertip Software already has used users’ suggestions to shape the product’s future roadmap.
Commercially available starting Feb. 1, 2014, RoomTime benefits facility managers by delivering fast and timely room- and resource-usage reports. The latest version is equipped with an intuitive, user-friendly calendar interface, as well as flexible room set-up and configuration options.
Likewise, the software benefits end users such as administrative professionals, who rely on RoomTime’s efficiency to quickly and easily reserve space, not to mention resources like supplies and A/V equipment.
"This is a lifesaver in terms of physical paperwork," says RoomTime user Will Pearson, at Saint Edward State Park in Kenmore, Wash.
"Time and resources are more precious today than they have ever been," says Silvertip Software CEO Harvey Tremblay. "By streamlining a task as critical and as common as room booking, RoomTime saves both, to the tremendous benefit of users on both sides of the transaction, including the venues who schedule space and the professionals who use it for their meetings and events."
Educational institutions, community facilities, business organizations and other groups interested in participating in the RoomTime Early Adopter Program’s free trial should visit http://www.roomtime.com to sign up before Jan. 31, 2014. Only a limited number of organizations will be accepted for the program.
